Posted

The Merrick Jewish Centre is looking to help Long Islanders this holiday season at their Hanukkah concert dedicated to the victims of Hurricane Sandy.

The center, located at 225 Fox Blvd. in Merrick, will host singer Neshama Carlebach and the Green Pastures Baptist Church Choir for the “Lights of Hope” concert on Wednesday, Dec. 12 at 7:30 p.m. Donations will benefit charitable organizations who aim to help the still-devastated areas of Long Island after last month’s hurricane.

General Admission tickets for “Lights of Hope” cost $36, while preferred seating costs $72. Sponsors can be featured in the concert program and on the “Lights of Hope” website for a $500 donation fee. Tickets are available on fegscommunity.fegs.org/lightsofhope, or can be purchased from the Merrick Jewish Centre by calling (516) 379-8650.
