Femy Aziz, center, owner of Serengeti Design Studios, was recently honored as Merrick’s Small Businesswoman of the Year at the Nassau County Council of Chambers of Commerce annual legislative breakfast at the Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury. Aziz serves on the Merrick Chamber of Commerce Board, regularly assists with fundraisers in the Merrick School District and donates her services to several non-profit organizations.
