Town Councilman Hudes to address pothole, snow-plowing issues at Thursday night meeting

The North and Central Merrick Civic Association’s next meeting, which will take place at 7 p.m. Thursday at the North Merrick Public Library, will deal with roadway potholes and snow plowing issues that local residents have raised in recent weeks. Hempstead Town Councilman Gary Hudes, who represents North Merrick on the Town of Hempstead Board, and representatives of the town’s Highway Department will be on hand to discuss these issues with residents.

The meeting will also include an update on recent neighborhood crime from a Nassau County Police Department First Precinct officer and discussion of further community issues.
