Don Resnick: Essence of Place
An exhibition showcasing Don Resnick’s landscape paintings, drawings, and watercolors, highlighting the artist’s interest in and commitment to preserving the natural environment. Through Aug. 15. Mysteries of Bats
Tackapausha Museum and Preserve’s exhibit features varied species of bats, including a live family of Egyptian Fruit Bats who fly and “hang out” in the museum’s nocturnal area. Picture Perfect: Selections From the Permanent Collection
This exhibition showcases works with appeal to a wide range of aesthetic sensibilities. Brightly colored paintings by Stuart Davis, George D. Spirit and Identity: Melanesian Works from the Hofstra University Museum Collections

Using the Lessons of the Holocaust to Teach Tolerance
