The First Presbyterian Church of Oceanside held its Fall Festival on Oct. 18., which featured trick or treating, face painting, baked goods and crafts.
Proceeds from a pumpkin sale went to Heifer International, an organization that seeks to end world poverty by bringing sustainable agriculture and commerce to areas with a long history of poverty. They supply animals that provide families with both food and reliable income, as agricultural products such as milk, eggs and honey can be traded or sold at market.
