Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano , third from left, honored Anthony J. Capellupo, Jr. of Oceanside for earning his Eagle Scout Award. Eagle Scout is the highest rank attainable in the Boy Scouting program of the Boy Scouts of America. The title of Eagle Scout is held for life, giving rise to the phrase “Once an Eagle, always an Eagle.” Also on hand to celebrate are representatives from the Theodore Roosevelt Council, Boy Scouts of America: Jay Garee, Eric Anderson, Sal Ciampo and Gerald Kaiser.
