South Shore Symphony
The South Shore Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of guest conductor David Bernard, steps into spring this weekend as it continues its season at the Madison Theatre. Renowned clarinetist Stanley Drucker joins the orchestra as guest soloist for an all-Mozart program. Drucker’s matchless playing was a hallmark of the New York Philharmonic for over 60 years, 49 from the chair of first clarinet. He brings his experience and virtuosity to his interpretation of Mozart’s Concerto for Clarinet. Framing this work are Mozart’s wonderful Posthorn Overture and his last symphony, the amazing Jupiter.
