Fields-Karafiol

Susan Deith and Paul Karafiol and Rozy Levine announce the engagement of their son, Michael Ryan Karafiol, to Lauren Paige Fields, daughter of Linda Fields and Gary and Bonni Fields.
The groom is the grandson of Pia Rosen and the late David Rosen, of Oceanside, and the late Leonard and Florence Karafiol of Queens. Michael is a 1998 graduate of Manhasset High School and earned his bachelor's degree, summa cum laude, from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in 2002. He is currently a vice president in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group at Citi in New York City.
The bride is the granddaughter of Seymour and Elissa Fendell and Birdie Fields and the late Mac Fields. Lauren earned her bachelor's degree, Phi Beta Kappa, from the University of Michigan in 2006. She is currently employed at Morgan Stanley in New York City.
A September 2010 wedding
