Not for anything, but $600 million for a pipe!?! Of course, bids will be put out there to all these union companies (if it hasn't already) for an "ocean outfall pipe" which is just another fancy name for sewage pipe. But today, it is the usual political M.O. to cloak something with fancy names and tags and make us think that it's soooo special. It's a damn pipe that's going into the ocean. You could probably do this job for 1/3 of the price if you gave it to a private non-union company. Mangano must be getting a hefty kick-back from this one!
