A look at taxis in Rockville Centre

But All Island is not the only company that has applied to run a taxi service in the village. Village Car Service submitted an application two years ago which was rejected earlier this year by Village Administrator Keith Spadaro, who said that the village did not need another taxi service.

Village Car Service is appealing this decision to the village Board of Trustees. The hearing is set for May 13 at 7 p.m.
