Cubs in Den 11 learn how automobiles work in Rockville Centre
The Cub Scouts of Den 11 spent some time at Tire Town at 236 Long Beach Rd, Rockville Centre, on Dec. 5. The employees at Tire Town helped the boys earn some achievements toward their Handyman Badge, as they taught the boys several things, including how to change a tire, how to check and fill the air on a tire and how to check the oil level in a car. The boys took a tour of the garage and learned about all the tools, lifts and other auto shop machines.
