On Oct. 11, the Rockville Centre Chamber of Commerce held its first Food and Wine Festival as a kick-off for Restaurant Week.
Restaurants from all over town came to Front Street to show off some of their best and most unique dishes. Many Long Island wineries and breweries also came to show off their wares, giving attendees samples of their signature drinks.
The festival was a kickoff for the first Rockville Centre Restaurant Week. This year, the Chamber of Commerce wanted to give more focus to Rockville Centre eateries, so it is holding its own food celebration.
Through Oct. 19, restaurants will be serving special meals for $15, $25 or $35. It’s a great opportunity to taste some of the best of Rockville Centre.
