Last week, the Rockville Centre Library brought a little bit of the tropics to the frozen village.
On Feb. 20, the library hosted a special luau show to help take residents’ minds off the cold. Dance Aloha, a Hawaiian dance troupe, showed how to perform a traditional hula dance. Then, they got the audience up off their feet to perform with them.
It was a great way to take peoples’ minds off the cold, and a lot of fun for everyone.
