Overcast Front Street Bakery reopens at ribbon cutting ceremony

After a three-week renovation that more than doubled its storefront space, the Front Street Bakery reopened its doors on Sept. 17 with a celebratory ribbon cutting ceremony attended by Mayor Francis Murray and members of the Rockville Center Chamber of Commerce. For more than 70 years and over four generations, the Front Street Bakery has been owned and run by the Wohlfarth and Acerno families. Special thanks was given by owner Lisa Acerno to Chris Horvath of Northpoint Construction and Denise Bradley from Bradley Architect who, “made our dream a reality.”
