Hewitt students honored for Reflections contest

A group of Hewitt Elementary School students were congratulated by Rockville Centre Mayor Francis X. Murray and Hewitt Principal Elizabeth Pryke for their achievements in the PTA Reflections Program. The National PTA Program fosters creativity in the arts. This year’s theme was “Believe, Dream, Inspire.” The students created works in the area of Visual Arts, Literature, Photography and Dance Choreography. Special congratulations to Matthew Walter and Grace Walter whose works in Photography and Literature were selected to by the Nassau County Judges to represent Nassau County at the New York State Reflections competition.
