Rockville Centre Chase Bank robbed

Police are on the lookout for a man who stole money from Chase Bank at 10 N. Village Ave on Saturday, June 27.

A man entered the bank and approached at a teller at 2:32 p.m. He gave the teller a note demanding money and said that he had a gun, although no gun was seen. The teller gave the man $7,211. The man left the bank and was last seen heading north on Village Avenue towards Sunrise Highway. No one was reported injured.

The man is black, in his mid-20s, about five feet seven inches tall, with a dark complexion and slim build. He was wearing an olive green Knicks baseball cap, aviator sunglasses and an olive green pullover shirt.

Police also believe the same man robbed a Chase Bank in Hicksville on Monday at 5:44 p.m. He was wearing sunglasses, a black baseball cap that said NY in white, a white T-shirt, and jeans.
