Arrests

A resident of Chesapeake, Virginia, was arrested on Nov. 21 and charged with identity theft, attempted grand larceny and several open arrest warrants after an investigation at Harrison Avenue, Rockville Centre.

A resident of N. Long Beach Avenue, Freeport, was arrested on Nov. 22 and charged with assault after an investigation at Cannon’s Blackthorn Restaurant, located at 49 N. Village Ave., Rockville Centre. Thomas Martinez, 24, of Lincoln Avenue, Baldwin, was also arrested and charged with assault at the restaurant the same day.

A resident of Redwood Drive, Great River, was arrested on Nov. 24 and charged with driving while intoxicated and VTL violations after an investigation on Clinton Avenue, Rockville Centre.

A resident of Chickadee Way, Setauket, was arrested on Nov. 25 and charged with VTL violations after an investigation at the intersection of Sunrise Highway and N. Forest Avenue.

A resident of Maple Grove Avenue, Uniondale, was arrested on Nov. 25 and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation and VTL violations after an investigation at the intersection of N. Long Beach Road and Maple Avenue, Rockville Centre.

Assault

A resident of Grand Terrace Avenue, Baldwin, reported on Nov. 24 that he was assaulted while at the Taco Bell at 570 Sunrise Highway, Rockville Centre.

A resident of N. Merrick reported on Nov. 24 that someone assaulted him while in the vicinity of S. Park Avenue and Municipal Parking Field 4.

Menacing

A resident of Lee Avenue, Rockville Centre, reported on Nov. 25 that someone menaced her with a black handgun while at the intersection of N. Forest Avenue and Maple Avenue, Rockville Centre.

Larcenies

A resident of Bellmore reported on Nov. 20 that someone stole $500 from his unlocked car while it was parked at the Friday’s located at 716 Sunrise Highway, Rockville Centre.

The security officer from the CVS Pharmacy located at 598 Merrick Road, Rockville Centre, reported on Nov. 20 that someone stole baby formula and shampoo, valued at $167.89. The unknown suspect fled on foot eastbound on Merrick Road.

A resident of Sprucewood Avenue, Levittown, reported on Nov. 23 that someone stole a pocketbook containing credit cards, miscellaneous paperwork and $40 while on a NICE bus traveling from Uniondale to Rockville Centre.

A resident of Hayes Street, Baldwin, reported on Nov. 24 that someone stole a Canon camera, valued at $2,000, from Extra Butter clothing store, 266 Merrick Road, Rockville Centre.

A resident of Windermere Place, Rockville Centre, reported on Nov. 19 that someone made unauthorized purchases in Massachusetts and New Hampshire from her TD Bank account without authorization.

ABC Violation

Cannon’s Blackthorn owner was issued an appearance ticket on Nov. 22 charging him with an ABC violation of a disorderly premise regarding the disturbance and assault, which resulted in multiple arrests. [See Arrests].

Property Damage

A resident of Cedarhurst reported on Nov. 21 that the rear bumper of his 2012 Hyundai was damaged while parked on Sunrise Highway, in the vicinity of Morris Avenue.

A resident of White Star Avenue, W. Hempstead reported on Nov. 24 that his 1992 Toyota, parked on Meehan Lane, Rockville Centre, was damaged.

Property Lost

A resident of S. Park Avenue reported on Nov. 22 that her gold bracelet, valued at $5,000, was lost while she was shopping at various locations in Rockville Centre.

A resident of Charlotte, North Carolina reported on Nov. 25 that she lost her North Carolina driver license while at Churchill’s, located at 18 S. Park Ave., Rockville Centre.
