Arrests

A resident of Columbia Road, Rockville Centre was arrested on Dec. 26 and charged with harassment, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct after an investigation at his residence.

A resident of Norfeld Boulevard, Elmont was arrested on Dec. 28 and charged with driving while intoxicated after an investigation on Lincoln Avenue, Rockville Centre.

Robbery

An employee of the AT&T Store located at 237 Sunrise Highway, Rockville Centre reported on Dec. 28 that two men displayed handguns and stole 25 cell phones, valued at $13,997 and they also stole $168.44 in currency. The two men reportedly taped three employees in a back room and fled in a white Dodge Charger with a red temporary license plate.

Larcenies

A DeMott Avenue resident reported on Dec. 28 that someone stole a copper lawn fountain, valued at $8,000 from the lawn of his residence.

A resident of 5th Street, Brooklyn reported on Dec. 29 that someone stole her iPhone from the front desk while she was working at Sky Athletic Club, located at 310 Merrick Road, Rockville Centre.

Investigation

A realtor from 140th Avenue, Springfield Gardens reported finding a defaced firearm in the yard of 28 N. Forest Ave, Rockville Centre on Dec. 29.

Unusual Incident

A resident of Oxford Road, Rockville Centre reported on Dec. 29 that someone opened an Edward Jones credit card account and charged $31,314.06 in transactions.

Graffiti

Police personnel located graffiti on Dec. 24 on a signal control box adjacent to the LIRR tracks at the intersection of Sunrise Highway and N. Long Beach Road.

Police personnel identified graffiti on a stop sign located at the intersection of New York Avenue and Chestnut Street, Rockville Centre.

Property Damage

A resident of N. Centre Avenue, Rockville Centre reported on Dec. 25 that her 2006 Honda was damaged by unknown means while parked in front of the residence.

Property Lost

A resident of West Hempstead reported that her Samsung, valued at $80, was lost while at Bally’s Fitness, at 60 Merrick Road, Rockville Centre.

Found Property

Police Personnel found a Mongoose Mischief bicycle on Hollywood Court, Rockville Centre on Dec. 31.

Harassment

A resident of Clinton Avenue, Rockville Centre reported that someone sent her threatening Facebook messages, causing annoyance and alarm.
