Our newest Cookbook Book Club presents Read, Cook, Eat.

We bake COOKIES! Here's how it works:

n Sign up at the Adult Reference Desk.

n Choose a recipe from one of the cookbooks at the Reference Desk. That recipe will be yours...no one else can select it from the group.

n Prepare the recipe and bring it to share at the meeting. Make one regular size

n Beverages will be served.

For babies and tots ages 4-14 months along with a parent or caregiver. Participants must preregister in the Children’s Room for this morning of interactive play.

Empire Safety Council Defensive Driving

9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

Register by telephone or in person at the Adult Reference Desk for this cost effective, point reducing class. Drivers 55 and over, $25; all other drivers, $40. Fee payable day of instruction to Empire Safety Council.

SUNDAY AFTERNOON PERFORMANCE SERIES IN CELEBRATION OF AN IRISH HOLIDAY With James Hawkins and Greg Ryan

2 p.m.

Popular entertainers Hawkins and Ryan share the songs, stories and poems of an Irish Christmas time! This afternoon is sure to make you smile!
