Rockville Centre heroin dealer arrested

On March 1, the Rockville Centre Police Department arrested William Green, 53, of Old Mill Court.

Green, a lifelong Rockville Centre resident, is on lifetime parole after numerous narcotics convictions.

Detectives learned that Green was allegedly selling approximately 1,000 bags of heroin per week to up to 30 different customers from Rockville Centre and Lakeview. According to police, Green was allegedly making up to $500 per day selling heroin.

Upon his arrest, police searched Green’s residents and allegedly seized a substantial amount of heroin and $20,000 in cash.

Green was charged with five counts of third degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and four counts of third degree criminal sale of a controlled substance. He was arraigned on March 2 in First District Court in Hempstead.
