Overcast San Remo Restaurant celebrates opening

San Remo Ristorante Italiano celebrated its recent opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Nov. 2.
The ceremony was attended by members of the Rockville Centre Lions Club and Chamber of Commerce, including chamber president Greg Schaefer.
The eatery, owned by Ralph Mekic, is located on 328 Sunrise Highway and takes over the space formerly occupied by Dino’s Restaurant. San Remo’s menu offers home-made pastas, fresh seafood, lean prime meats, and world-class wine.
Aside from its Italian cuisine, the restaurant also hosts private parties and special functions.
