Last week, South Side Middle School recognized special education students who were Achille’s Kids.
Achille’s Kids is a program that encourages running and physical activity. During the course of the year, the students ran a virtual marathon — clocking 26.2 miles since September.
Last Friday, the school celebrated their success, and Achille’s Kids gave each of the students a brand new pair of sneakers, which will help make next year’s marathon even better.
