Storm causes Roxen Road flooding

Long after the heavy rain on Tuesday afternoon had passed, Roxen Road in Rockville Centre was still flooded, with water spilling up over the curb and onto sidewalks and spilling out of manhole covers. The storm also caused some small power outages in the village that were quickly repaired.

Roxen Road was part of the village’s latest round of street repaving, and was just recently completed.
