The Rockville Centre Little League kicked off its 2015 season on April 11.
Opening Day was originally scheduled for late March, but bad weather canceled the traditional parade (although the Little League did still collect 2,600 pounds of food at its food drive).
Mother Nature was much more cooperative last week for the first games of the season, giving teams a beautiful day to play.
Boys and girls of all ages played games all days across Rockville Centre’s many fields. It was a great start to the season for everyone.
