One last fawn at fall in Sea Cliff

Posted

Despite last week’s early snowfall, Sea Cliff is still glowing in the rich colors of late autumn. All around the village leaves are changing colors, plants are boasting vibrant shades of yellow, orange and red, and an ever-breezy chill cascading from the sunny skies above provides a hint that winter is coming.
Walking along Sea Cliff Avenue, the fallen leaves create puzzling patterns on the sidewalk, which beautifully intermingle with the seasonal planters that sit outside local businesses.
Down by Sea Cliff Beach, portraits of fall trees paint the shoreline across Hempstead Harbor, where both human and wild life play within the natural scene, holding onto the final shreds of a forgotten summer.
