The first major snowstorm of 2015 dropped more than a foot of snow on the regions, closing schools, libraries and stores.
Wantagh and Seaford residents spent most of the day digging out, and children enjoyed their snow day by building snow men and sledding on the hills at Cedar Creek Park.
