A sports utility vehicle going northbound on Wantagh Avenue overturned near the Southern State Parkway exit ramp at rush hour on June 8.
According to a witness at the scene, the driver lost control of the vehicle and hit a pole. Two people from the SUV were taken by ambulance, and one lane in each direction on Wantagh Ave. was blocked off after the crash.
