A knife-wielding man assaulted an employee inside a Rockaway Ave. candy store on Feb. 24, causing minor lacerations to the victim’s hand, before fleeing with a cash register drawer containing cash, police said.

The suspect was described as black, 5-foot-6, between 160 and 170 pounds and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, dark glasses, black gloves and a tan scarf over his face.

The victim refused medical attention at the scene.
