Arrests

A 29-year old, of West Hempstead, was arrested and charged with driving a vehicle while intoxicated, lane violations and several equipment violations on Sunrise Highway on April 11 at 2:48 a.m.

On April 12 at 8:55 p.m., a 31-year-old man, of Lynbrook, was located, arrested and charged with an open Lynbrook warrant for aggravated unlicensed operation, and unregistered motor vehicle.

A 31-year-old man, of East Meadow, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance (cocaine), exceeding the speed limit and aggravated unlicensed operation on Peninsula Boulevard on April 14 at 1:52 a.m.

On April 14 at 6:58 a.m., a 27-year-old man, of Island Park, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance (heroin), and failure to wear seat belt on Ocean Avenue.

A 48-year-old man, of Bay Shore, was located, arrested and charged with aggravated harassment on April 14 at 7:33 a.m.

On April 15 at 12:33 a.m., a 23-year-old woman, of Rockville Centre, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance (xanax), and unlawful possession of marijuana on Sunrise Highway.

A 42-year-old man, of Lynbrook, was located, arrested and charged with open Lynbrook and Nassau County warrants for criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of hypodermic needles, and urinating in public on April 15 at 8:16 a.m.

A 21-year-old woman, of Cedarhurst, was arrested and charged with driving a vehicle while intoxicated, leaving the scene of an accident, lane violations and unregistered motor vehicle on Ocean Avenue on April 16 at 2 a.m.

On April 17 at 2:25 a.m., a 17-year-old male, of Lynbrook, was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana on Madison Street.


Burglary

On April 12 At 3 p.m. a resident of Davison Avenue discovered the side door to his home was damaged and open. A watch, credit card and U.S. Currency were stolen, resulting in a total loss of approximately $1,015. Damage to the side door was estimated to be $300. The incident occurred between 1 p.m. and 2:45 p.m. on April 12.

Identity theft
On April 13 at noon it was reported that an unknown female used another woman’s identity during the issuance of a vehicle and traffic law ticket on Dec. 21 of last year.
