EMFD hosting Recruitment Day on Sunday

The East Meadow Fire Department is hosting Recruitment Day on Sunday, April 28, from noon to 4 p.m. at the East Meadow Fire Department headquarters on 197 East Meadow Avenue.

The program will serve as an informational session for those who are interested in becoming a volunteer firefighter or EMS provider.

Interested parties, male or female, between the ages of 18 and 45, will have the opportunity to speak to East Meadow firefighters, and gain a sense of what it is like to become a volunteer.
