Living Greener with The Algoods

Aloha from Hawaii. I lived in Valley Stream from 1965 - 1981; attended VS schools (Clearstream Ave, Memorial JH and Central HS). I've been in Hawi, Hawaii for a couple of years and want to share my excitement with my home town of Valley Stream. Along with my partner, Holly Algood, I have created a "Green" property. We live off-grid, using only solar and wind to power our home and farm. We used many "green" building products. We have an aquaponics system for growing vegetables and raising fish (tilapia).
