New York State Police arrested a limousine driver who they was drunk when he was found asleep in his vehicle in Seaford earlier this week.

Police were alerted to a disabled vehicle on the eastbound side of the Southern State Parkway on the exit ramp from Route 107 on May 27 at 4:25 a.m. Troopers located the vehicle, a black Lincoln Town Car, and found the driver, 33-year-old Cristian Quizhpi, of Ozone Park, asleep at the wheel.

Officers detected the odor or alcohol, and conducted field sobriety tests, which they say Quizhpi failed. After being given a breathalyzer, it was determined he had a blood alcohol level of .17, more than twice the legal limit.

Quizhpi was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated and for stopping his vehicle on a highway. He is due back in First District Court on June 8. The vehicle is registered to VIP Transportation of Ozone Park.
