State Senator Jack Martins honored the Elmont Memorial High School Varsity Boy's Basketball team in the New York State. Speaking on the resolution, Senator Martins congratulated the entire team, Coach Holub and Principal John Capozzi. Senator Dean Skelos and Senator Chuck Fuschillo spoke on the resolution. The Elmont Spartans won the Nassau County Championship by beating Baldwin.
