Sunday, May 4 marked the second annual Love Your Library Day at the Rockville Centre Public Library. The event featured a concert by the The Jerry Costanzo Swing Band Orchestra, face painting and balloon art by Michelle Wettstein of The Artfull Experience, and a special guest appearance by Darth Vader and a Star Wars storm trooper (it just happened to also be May 4, which is National Star Wars Day).

Long Island merchants donated prizes for library trivia contests which had youngsters and oldsters alike searching the Library for the winning answers. Patrons were greeted with the library’s new I Love RVC Library car magnet, and special treats throughout the day. Thank you to all our patrons for making the day a celebration of all the Library offers to the community.
