Mostly Cloudy Village cancels meetings, sanitation pickups
Take your cars off the streets
The village of Freeport has canceled the Planning board meeting Tuesday and village court will also be closed on Tuesday.
Sanitation pickups are also canceled for Tuesday.
This evening's village board meeting will take place at 7:30 pm at village hall.
The village is asking residents to pull cars off the streets to make it easier to plow and to please clear the fire hydrants by your residence.

Finally Friends of Freeport is asking residents to help elderly neighbors during and after the storm. They are looking for volunteers to shovel sidewalks for senior citizens. If you can volunteer go to the Friends of Freeport Facebook page to sign up.
