Tribute to the Boss

Tramps Like Us, the acclaimed tribute band, will visit Eisenhower Park at 8 p.m. on Friday for an evening devoted to none other than Bruce Springsteen. Rock the night away with the band’s rendition of the classic Springsteen sound, delivered with the Boss’s passion and conviction. To top it all off, this show is free! Info: (516) 572-0355.

Fireworks and more

TD Bank will once again sponsor “Celebrate America” — a concert and fireworks show — at the Harry Chapin Lakeside Theatre in Eisenhower Park on Saturday. The festivities kick off with a performance by the Steam Punk Pirates, followed by Killer Joe and the Lido Soul Revue; gates will open at 5:30 p.m. The fireworks will begin at nightfall (approximately 9:30 p.m.). Tickets are required for admission to the theater area and are available, free of charge, at any TD Bank on Long Island (while supplies last). Jewish noir

Enjoy a bagel, schmear and Jewish stories at the East Meadow Public Library at 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 7. Meet Stephen Wishnia, a contributing author to an anthology called “Jewish Noir: Contemporary Tales of Crime and Other Dark Deeds.” Books will be available for purchase and signing.
