A special ceremony

West Hempstead resident Yakov Lieberman recently celebrated his upsherinish ceremony. The Jewish tradition is also known as a first hair cut ceremony. Town of Hempstead Councilman Edward Ambrosino, who represents West Hempstead, attended the ceremony to help the Lieberman family celebrate the tradition.
