Camp Lourdes in Malverne recently wrapped up another successful season. The camp ran from Aug. 10 to Aug. 21.
The camp is a two week program held at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish. This year, approximately 70 campers, 40 teen volunteer counselors and 13 counselors in training participated in the camp.
Each day kids were taught a Bible lesson and they participated in arts and crafts, sports and games. The program also included skits, which were performed by the 10 Day Players Theater Troupe.
All of the activities focused on this year’s theme, “Growing In God’s Love.”
