On April 6, hundreds of families joined Freeport Mayor Robert Kennedy and town officials for the village’s annual Easter Egg Hunt. One of Long Island’s largest egg hunts, and a beloved Freeport tradition, children from ages 2 to 11 spent the day hunting for colorful eggs and sweet Easter treats to put into their baskets.
The Easter bunny also made a special appearance to take photos with children and their families.
