A Baldwinite has been charged with stealing more than $147,000 from an elderly Plainview man, Nassau County cops said. Dimitri Blanchard, of Harrison Avenue, was arrested on March 7 and charged with third-degree grand larceny and fourth- and fifth-degree conspiracy.

According to detectives, Blanchard worked with Queens Village resident Lenkeisha Bolton to defraud the Plainview man by telling him he won the Publishers Clearing House Sweepstakes. Both allegedly told the man to make multiple deposits on multiple dates to pay for fees and taxes related to the sweepstakes win.

On March 5, cops said, the victim was told to take out $25,000 and deliver it to Queens Village. Bolton was arrested on March 5, and Blanchard later for his role in the alleged crime.
