Gift It Forward Inc. Kulanu Academy and the Five Towns Early Learning Center, received money from Dime Community Bank through the DimeGivesBack initiative. The Five Towns organization were given $2,500, $2,500 and $1,835, respectively.

Dime Community Bank offered the special #DimeGivesBack initiative to celebrate more than 150 years of service to the customers and communities they serve. Dime donated more than $22,000 among over 50 local non-profit organizations. The Kulanu Academy staff embraced this opportunity and was one of the strongest performers on Long Island. Kulanu posted 277 thankful messages on their Facebook page qualifying them for the maximum gift of $2,500.
“We can use this donation to help so many,” said Early Learning Center Executive Director Pepper Robinson. The Inwood school also received toys from Dime.
