Child food choking prevention workshop

A registered nurse practitioner will teach guests how to properly administer the Heimlich maneuver on infants, children and adults at the Lynbrook Public Library on May 22 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. The nurse will also teach guests how to prevent or combat a child food-choking event. The workshop is free, although registration is required.
