Crime watch: Lynbrook, East Rockaway

On June 26 at 9:30 a.m., a 33-year-old man from Jamaica, Queens, was arrested and charged with criminal mischief in the Phillips Plaza parking lot, 669 Sunrise Highway.

At 8:40 p.m. on June 26, a 23-year-old man from Freeport was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operator, unlicensed operator and disobeying a traffic control device on Broadway.

A 23-year-old man from Jamaica, Queens was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of marijuana on Broadway on June 26 at 8:50 p.m.

On June 27 at 3:47 p.m., a 28-year-old man from Howard Beach, Queens, was arrested and charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance and petit larceny at Rite Aid, 400 Sunrise Highway.

At 9:34 p.m. on June 27, a 50-year-old man from Island Park was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, aggravated unlicensed operator and following too closely on Ocean Avenue.

A 31-year-old Roosevelt woman was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operator and unlicensed operator on Sunrise Highway on June 28 at 3:39 a.m.

On June 29 at 11:50 p.m., a 39-year-old Rockville Centre woman was arrested and charged with operating without a helmet, aggravated unlicensed operator, unregistered motor vehicle, no insurance and speeding on Sunrise Highway.

Petit larceny

On June 25 at 7:45 p.m., a resident of Scranton Avenue reported that at about 3:27 p.m. on that day, a person removed his “Ring” doorbell and several packages from the front porch of his home. Value of the items stolen was about $376.
