Crime watch: Lynbrook, East Rockaway

Arrests

A 28-year-old Queens woman was arrested on Aug. 8 at 10:40 p.m. and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, failure to signal a turn and uninspected vehicle on Peninsula Boulevard.

On Aug. 9 at 7:05 p.m., a 33-year-old Brooklyn man was arrested and charged with an open warrant on Fennimore Street.

At 9:09 p.m. on Aug. 9, a 21-year-old Brooklyn woman; a 21-year-old Queens woman; and a 24-year-old Queens woman were arrested after they failed to pay a $96.10 at the Lynbrook Diner.

A 32-year-old Queens resident was arrested on Aug. 11 at 3:11 a.m. and charged with drinking while intoxicated, speeding, unsafe lane change and operating without insurance on Sunrise Highway.

A 23-year-old from Lynbrook was arrested on Aug. 11 at 11:55 p.m. and charged with assault on Randall Avenue.

A 22-year-old Hempstead resident was arrested on Aug. 13 at 1:40 p.m. and charged with criminal mischief at the Taco Bell at 547 Merrick Road.

Identity theft

A complainant reports that on Aug. 2 at 2 p.m., an unknown suspect used her personal information to gain access to her Bethpage Federal Credit Union checking account and withdrew $560.

Grand larceny

The manager of Infiniti of Lynbrook reported on Aug. 6 at 3:15 p.m. that an unknown suspect stole a 2015 Infiniti Q50 from the property. Total loss was $24,000.

A resident of 25 Crab Ave. reported that between 5 p.m. on Aug. 6 and 11 a.m. on Aug. 8, an unknown suspect broke into his car, which was parked on his driveway, and stole $1,200 in cash.
