Crime watch: Lynbrook, East Rockaway

Arrests

A 35-year-old Hempstead man was arrested on Aug. 13 at 10 p.m. and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, failure to obey a traffic control device, unregistered motor vehicle, operating without a license and uninspected vehicle on Sunrise Highway.

A 30-year-old Brooklyn woman was arrested on Aug. 14 at 9:44 a.m. and charged with criminal possession of a weapon and intent to fraud on Clifford Street.

On Aug. 16 at 12:30 p.m., a 53-year-old Uniondale man was arrested and charged with an open Nassau County warrant on Forest Avenue.

At 1:44 p.m. on Aug. 18, a 58-year-old Farmingville man was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation and operating without a license on Peninsula Boulevard.

A 27-year-old Lynbrook woman was arrested on Aug. 29 at 4:47 a.m. and charged with criminal mischief for breaking the glass door of the Taco Bell on Merrick Road.

Criminal Mischief

Between 4:30 p.m. on Aug. 14 and 1:30 a.m. on Aug. 15, an unknown suspect used a large rock to break the glass front door of the Lynbrook Building Department. Total damage was about $1,000.

Grand larceny

A resident of 25 Russell St. reported that after a party at his residence on Aug. 12, an unknown suspect stole his iPhone and TD Bank debit card. He later discovered more than $1,400 in unauthorized charges on his debit card.
