Crime watch: Lynbrook, East Rockaway

A 28-year-old Queens resident was arrested and charged with robbery for an incident that occurred on Sept. 15 on Sunrise Highway.

A 38-year-old Roosevelt man was arrested on Sept. 20 at 11:30 a.m. and charged with possession of a controlled substance (phentermine), aggravated unlicensed operation and fractured windshield on Merrick Road.

A 23-year-old Queens man was arrested on Sept. 22 at 10:26 p.m. and was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation and lane violation on Sunrise Highway.

A 30-year-old Lynbrook man was arrested on Sept. 23 at 6:30 p.m. and was charged with an open Nassau County warrant.

A 34-year-old Cedarhurst rresident was arrested on Sept. 24 at 12:25 a.m. and was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, suspended registration, defective plate lamp and two open Nassau County warrants on Sunrise Highway.

A 52-year-old Valley Stream resident was arrested on Sept. 24 at 12:30 a.m. and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, unlicensed operation, equipment violation, no inspection and an open Nassau County warrant on Sunrise Highway.

A 27-year-old Island Park resident was arrested on Sept. 24 at 1:17 p.m. and was charged with possession of a controlled substance (heroin) and using a hand held phone while driving on Ocean Avenue.

A 35-year-old Brooklyn man was arrested on Sept. 24 at 3:55 p.m. and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation and unlicensed operator on Sunrise Highway.

A 21-year-old Queens man was arrested on Sept. 25 at 10:10 a.m. and charged with five counts of possession of a forged instrument (fraudulent credit cards) and operating a motor vehicle on the center median on Peninsula Boulevard.

A 21-year-old Island Park resident was arrested on Sept. 25 at 3:51 p.m. and was charged with speeding, unlawful possession of marijuana and equipment violation on Merrick Road.

A 27-year-old Rockville Centre man was arrested on Sept. 25 at 7:35 p.m. and charged with an open Nassau County warrant.
