Fifth annual N. Bellmore art studio exhibit

Georgia A. Fasano, of Merrick, will display her work in the Chezar Art Studio's Fifth Annual Art Show. It will take place May 1 to June 30 at the Farmingdale Public Library. In addition, everyone is invited to meet Georgia and the other artists at the reception on May 13 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the gallery. Refreshments will be served.

The two month-long show also features paintings and drawings of Chezar Art Studio owner, Sheila Chezar-Hershkowitz, and the artists who are attending her studio since its opening in 2012 and is now celebrating its fifth anniversary.

Georgia Fasano started painting classes at Nassau Community College in 1999. Later, she took them in Rockville Centre and Seaford. She takes classes with Chezar-Hershkowitz, and enjoys oils and watercolors.

Georgia received a Bachelors in Nursing at Adelphi University. She is an RN who currently works for the Long Island Plastic Surgical Group in Garden City.

The North Merrick resident is also an active member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Court Bishop Kellenberg, North Merrick. She also helps with the North Merrick Fire Dept Ladies Auxiliary.
