Though Jones Beach went without its traditional Fourth of July fireworks show, Eisenhower Park did its part to "Celebrate America" last Saturday.
Thousands flooded the park and the surrounding area to enjoy an evening of fireworks put on by the Grucci family, as part of Nassau County's "Celebrate America," sponsored by TD Bank. Before the fireworks show, those who made it inside the Harry S. Chapin Lakeside Theater enjoyed a performance from the Beach Bummz, a Beach Boys tribute band.
