Forest City folks flock to Spring Fling

More than a dozen Forest City families came out to the annual egg hunt at the Spring Fling event on April 2. With the Easter holidays just around the corner, the tight-knit community in North Wantagh held festivities for children and local folks to ring in the new season.

Hosted by the Forest City Community Civic Association, the Spring Fling has been held at the clubhouse in front of the park for more than a dozen years. For families moving into the neighborhood, it can be a great way to meet new people and interact with their neighbors, civic members noted.

Children had fun hunting for candy-filled eggs, making crafts and nibbling on bunny treats.
