Girl Scout troops 717 and 737 — girls from the Hewlett and Lawrence school districts — sold nearly 30 gallons of homemade fresh-squeezed lemonade, and homemade chocolate lollipops and collected more than $700 at the Arts Below Sunrise festival in Hewlett and Woodmere on Sept. 17.
The money was donated to help the victims of Hurricanes Irma and Harvey. The troops are led by Kelly Occhiuzzo Zack and Laura Fratti.
